Your GitHub Projects,
finally at home on iPhone.
Boardly turns GitHub Projects into a fast, Trello-style board. Drag a card and its Status updates on GitHub. Create issues, comment and attach screenshots, from anywhere. No code, no command line.
Everything you need to run a project from your phone
Built on GitHub Projects, so your team keeps working the way it already does.
Drag & drop
Every Status option becomes a column. Move a card and its Status changes on GitHub instantly. Prefer one hand? Long-press → Move to.
Comments & screenshots
Report a problem the way people actually do: write what went wrong and attach a screenshot. Uploads go through GitHub's own comment box.
Labels, checklists & due dates
Everything Trello has on a card, stored in GitHub: labels, assignees, task lists and your project's date field.
AI that writes the issue
Describe the problem in your own words; GitHub Models turns it into a clear report with steps to reproduce. Summaries and checklists too.
Notifications
Mentions, assignments and new comments from GitHub in one inbox, with optional alerts when the app is closed.
Search & filter
Find any card by text, label or person, or show only what's overdue or due this week.
Real issue management
Create issues straight into a column, edit title and description, close and reopen. Drafts and PRs too.
Always in sync
No import, no copy. Boardly reads and writes your actual GitHub Projects, so changes show up on github.com straight away.
Built for iPad
Sidebar and board side by side, Split View, Slide Over, pointer support and keyboard shortcuts.
Private by design
Boardly talks directly to GitHub. Your token stays in your device's Keychain. No servers, no tracking.
One board, every screen
Columns adapt to the space you have: one at a time on iPhone, side by side on a foldable or iPad.
Questions
Do I need a GitHub account?
Yes, to use your own projects. You sign in with GitHub, and Boardly shows the projects you already have access to. Want to look around first? Open the live demo, or tap “Try the demo board” in the app. No account needed for either.
Does it work with organization projects?
Yes. If an organization's projects don't show up, the organization may need to approve Boardly under its third-party access settings. The app links you to the right GitHub page.
Where is my data stored?
Your boards and issues stay in GitHub. Boardly only keeps your sign-in token, in the iOS Keychain on your device. There are no Boardly servers, and we don't collect analytics. See the privacy policy.
Which devices are supported?
iPhone, foldable iPhone and iPad running iOS / iPadOS 17 or later.
Is Boardly made by GitHub?
No. Boardly is an independent app by Solution Forest. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by GitHub, Inc.
